Bernd Frank - Posters for the theater

In the 1970s and 1980s, Berlin's theatre life continued in the urban space: theatre posters on walls and advertising pillars attracted the attention of the audience. They reflected the essence of the plays, aroused curiosity and manifested memories of what had been seen. Some of the most impressive theatre posters of this period were designed by Bernd Frank. The poster collection of the Akademie der Künste preserves almost all of his work.
